SSC Multi Tasking Staff Selection Process
The candidates who have applied for the posts of SSC MTS will be selected on the basis of written exam. The written exam will contain two papers- Paper-1 and Paper-2. The candidates first invite for paper-1 which is an objective type paper. The aspirants who will qualify in this will select for next phase.
कर्मचारी चयन आयोग ने SSC MTS के लिए exam syllabus and exam pattern जारी कर दिया है. इन posts के उमीदवारों को लिखित परीक्षा में पास होना पड़ेगा जोकि पेपर- 1 व पेपर- 2 के रूप में ली जाएगी. सबसे पहले उमीदवारों को पेपर एक के लिए बुलाया जाएगा जोकि बहुविकल्पी होगा.
उमीदवार जो पेपर- 1 में पास होंगे उन्हें फिर पेपर-2 के लिए select किया जाएगा जिसमे उमीदवारों को एक निबंध (Essay) लिखना होगा. SSC MTS के लिए पेपर सिलेबस निचे दिया गया है.
SSC MTS Exam Syllabus and Pattern for Paper-1
SSC MTS Paper-1 will include objective type questions only. The paper will include 150 questions for 150 marks. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in this paper. The time duration for this exam is 2 hours. The exam syllabus for this exam is given below.
General Intelligence: Analysis, arithmetical number series, decision making, figure classification, relationship concepts, judgment, visual memory, similarities and differences, discriminating observation, space visualization, problem-solving, non-verbal series etc. The Paper will also include questions to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, analytical functions, and arithmetical computation.
General English: The question will include from Basics of English Language, grammar, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, vocabulary, sentence structure and candidate’s writing ability would be tested.
Numerical Aptitude: Averages, Decimals and Fractions and the relationship between Numbers, Number Systems, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, use of Tables and Graphs, Interest, Discount, Mensuration, Whole Numbers, Percentages, Time and Distance, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Time and Work, Ratio and Time, etc.
General Awareness: Current events, India and its neighboring countries, sports, culture, History, Economic Scene, Geography, General Polity including Indian Constitution and Scientific Research, etc.
SSC Multi Tasking Staff Exam Syllabus and Pattern for Paper-2
The SSC MTS Paper-2 is a descriptive type paper. In this paper, the candidates have to write a Short Essay/Letter in
English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The paper will be organized for maximum 50 marks and there will be a time duration of 30 minutes for this exam.
The final Selection of the candidates is based on the merit list which will be designed on the basis of Paper-1 and Paper-2 marks.
