NIOS Admission Form 2017
NIOS is the shortest and well-known form of National Institute of Open schooling. It also is known as National Open and Delhi Open. The main motive of the education board is to provide the education to all over the India.
The National Open Admission process will be divided into Streams and Block. There will be 4 streams i.e. stream-1, stream-2, stream-3 and stream-4. These streams are divided into blocks. There are two blocks block-1 and block-2.
Stream-I for all those students who are going to appear the first time for learning and Stream- 2, 3 & 4 for the students who have to complete their education but participate in again to learn new things.
Blocks are the series of examinations i.e. the Board has conducted the examination twice in a year so it makes two blocks for the same. The block-1 Application form has started from March and the examination for the same will conduct next year in the month of April or May.
The block-2 application form has started from September month and the examination for the same will conduct next year in the month of October/ November.
Eligibility for NIOS Admission

Secondary- The application fees for the male candidates will be Rs. 1485/- and for female candidates will be Rs. 1210/- the students who belong to SC/ST have to pay an application fee of Rs 990. If you select any additional subject then you have to pay the extra fee of Rs. 600/-
Senior Secondary- You have to Rs 1650 for Male and Rs 1375 for Female and Rs 1075 for SC/ ST candidates. The application fee for the additional subject will be Rs. 600/-.
How to Apply National Open Admission Form Online
The students who are going to complete their qualification with National Open Board have to apply online application first. NIOS 10th Admission Form and NIOS 12th Admission form will release twice in a year. The students can apply their applications using the simple steps mention below.
- First Open the official website of NIOS which is http://online.nios.ac.in.
- After that click on the link of “Online Admission”.
- Then Select your stream i.e. 1, 2, 3 & 4.
- Now select your Block i.e. Block 1 or Block 2.
- Then click on the link of ‘Online admission for all learner’.
- Now click on register and enter your details carefully.
- Fill the application form carefully and pay the application fee.
- After that submit your form and take a printout of it.
