SSC Junior Engineer Syllabus
The SSC Junior Engineer Exam will be going to organise by the Staff Selection Commission. The Written Test will be divided into two papers, Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I will be the computer based examination and conducted for 200 marks. But the paper-II will be the conventional type written exam. The SSC will be going to conduct the SSC Junior Engineer Paper-I. The paper-I will be conducted into two shifts i.e. morning and evening shifts. The paper for morning shift will conduct from 10 am to 12 noon and the paper for evening shift will conduct from 2 pm to 4 pm. It will be an objective type paper, and there will be a negative marking of 0.25 as per the wrong answer. The candidates who will qualify in this exam will be selected for the next exam. SSC Junior Engineer Syllabus for Paper-I
General Intelligence & Reasoning: The test may include questions on analogies, analysis, arithmetical reasoning, differences, decision making, discrimination, judgment, observation, relationship concepts, problem-solving, space visualization, similarities, visual memory, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
General Awareness: The questions will also be selected to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The paper will include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Culture, Economic Scene, Geography, General Polity and Scientific Research, History, etc.
