Delhi Police SI, ASI CISF Selection Process

The selection process of SSC SI, ASI will be based on three phases. The complete selection process for these posts is given below.

  • Paper-1
  • Physical Test (PET, PST & Medical)
  • Paper-2

Paper-1: All the applicants who have applied for these posts first invites for the written exam i.e Paper-1. The paper will include objective multiple choice type questions. The paper will consist 200 questions for 200 marks. This paper will be divided into 4 parts i.e. A, B, C & D. There will be a time period of 2 hours to solve this examination.

The questions will be asked in both Hindi & English language. There will be negative marking of 0.25 as per the wrong answer.

Physical Test: All the candidates who will qualify in Paper-1 are selected for the physical test. In this test candidates have to complete the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Test. This test will be qualifying nature i.e no marks will be awarded to the candidates for this test.

Physical Efficiency Test

For male candidates only

  1. 100 meters race in 16 seconds
  2. 1.6 Km race in 6.5 minutes
  3. Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
  4. High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
  5. Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chance

For female candidates only

  1. 100 meters race in 18 seconds
  2. 800 meters race in 4 minutes
  3. Long Jump: 2.7 meters (9 feet) in 3 chances.
  4. High Jump: 0.9 meters (3 feet) in 3 chances.

Medical Test: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without wearing glasses. The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein.

Paper-2: The shortlisted candidates in Physical Test are selected for Paper-2. This paper will be conducted for 200 marks and the questions will be included from English Language & Comprehension. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 in this exam also.

Steps to Download SI ASI Hall Ticket

  1. First, open for your region given in above table.
  2. After that hit on the tab named Admit Card.
  3. Now open the link for SI, ASI Admit Card.
  4. Then submit your details and print your admit card.

Note- Candidates should bring 3 passport size photographs and an id proof on the day of examination. Aspirants not carrying photograph may not be allowed to appear in the exam.

SSC CPO Exam Syllabus 

General Intelligence & Reasoning: The questions will included from analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc.

General Awareness: This part will include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, scientific Research etc.

Quantitative Aptitude: In this section the questions related to whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit & Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & work, Basic algebraic identities of School Algebra and Elementary surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangle are asked.

English: In this section candidates ability to understand correct English & writing ability would be tested.
